We’re putting our own spin on songs you know and love—from legends like Carole King, Joni Mitchell, Eric Clapton, The Beatles, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Patsy Cline, and Smokey Robinson. But we’re not stopping there—we’re mixing in modern favorites too, like Lady A, Lady Gaga, and John Legend. I’ve been performing since I was five, when I sang and danced my heart out on Albuquerque’s Dick Bills TV Show. Since then, I’ve done it all—singing, acting, dancing, and playing piano—on stages from Santa Fe to Singapore. I taught musical theatre at the College of Santa Fe and helped build one of the first BFA programs in the country. I’m a voice geek (a certified Estill Voice Master Teacher!), and I love singing just about anything: classical, jazz, Broadway, rock—you name it. I’ve soloed with some amazing groups in Santa Fe and beyond, and even recorded a few albums along the way. Let’s just say music and I go way back.

I started gigging as a kid—first on piano, then sax in a middle school rock band in New Haven. After moving to Albuquerque, I played bass and sang in a high school band that won a city-wide contest (thanks, KQEO!). Since then, I’ve played just about everything—pedal steel, keys, sax—in bands like the country-rock crew Lawyers, Guns & Money, bluesy Nobody’s Business, doo-wop group ShaBoom, and R&B/soul band JumpStart. I’ve shared stages with legends like Stevie Ray Vaughan and Chubby Checker and jammed from San Francisco to Muscle Shoals. These days, you’ll find me rocking out with C.S. Rockshow, vibing acoustically with Curry/Springer, or grooving with The Incredible Woodpeckers and Monsoon—alongside my amazing wife, Gail.

I started playing guitar at 10 and soaked up every style I could find—ragtime, blues, swing, jazz, fusion—you name it. That versatility took me around the world with the pop-funk group Hi-Wire and across North America with various touring acts. After landing in Santa Fe, I co-founded the beloved dance band Funktuation and played with a who’s who of local talent. Now based in Los Ranchos, I brings my signature groove and guitar magic to Monsoon, playing the classics I love.
